Pillowcase Dresses

It's finally feeling like summer here in Seattle, so I can break out these dresses that I made for the girls before the baby was born. I love how they turned out even though I am a really amateur seamstress. I am a visual learner, so I bought a tutorial from this shop on Etsy that walks you through it step-by-step and has lots of pictures. I love picture tutorials!

Welcome summer!

So completely adorable, Kate! I love the coordinating fruit on the dresses. Chella and I have been talking about making some of these dresses (they seem so perfect for summer) and have been looking for a good tutorial. I will have to try the one you used out. You have the cutest little models!

As a mom with so little time to spare, I admire the effort and time put into your little girls. You gotta love those quick and simple patterns!

Oh my gosh! I have both of those fabrics in my stash. I wonder if I have enough left to try my hand a dress for my daughter - it's starting to feel more like summer here, too (we're about 25 min. south of Olympia).
