It's finally feeling like summer here in Seattle, so I can break out these dresses that I made for the girls before the baby was born. I love how they turned out even though I am a really amateur seamstress. I am a visual learner, so I bought a tutorial from
this shop on Etsy that walks you through it step-by-step and has lots of pictures. I love picture tutorials!
Welcome summer!

So completely adorable, Kate! I love the coordinating fruit on the dresses. Chella and I have been talking about making some of these dresses (they seem so perfect for summer) and have been looking for a good tutorial. I will have to try the one you used out. You have the cutest little models!
Those adorable dresses are perfect for your most adorable girls. And thanks for your comment on my blog... made my day for sure!

As a mom with so little time to spare, I admire the effort and time put into your little girls. You gotta love those quick and simple patterns!
OH what a cute little dress! And what a cutie in the dress! :) Thanks for sharing!!
Oh my gosh! I have both of those fabrics in my stash. I wonder if I have enough left to try my hand a dress for my daughter - it's starting to feel more like summer here, too (we're about 25 min. south of Olympia).
